Vieille Cuvee is by far the most difficult of the five Leffe beers to come by, even in Belgium.
It has a musty, malty flavour, with an aftertaste of blackberries and toffee. It attains a persistent, though thin head of froth, and has an intoxicating toffee bouquet.
The texture is a little sharp, but this only serves to provide further balance to this impressive, rare beer. In my opinion, Leffe Vieille Cuvee is the tastiest of the Leffe range of Belgian beers.
